4 DAY BEST OF OKAVANGO DELTA EXPERIENCE

DAY 1

You will be picked up at Maun Airport/lodge by a professional guide who will brief you about your Safari tour, you will be transferred to the boat station in a 4×4 Game drive Land cruiser where you will board a boat to the Okavango Delta. On your way, you different animals will cross your way, elephants, hippos, and other animals. Stopover on the way for a packed lunch. Evening activity in the Delta and delicious freshly cooked dinner will be served later on under the African sky full of stars and great breezes of the water.


AccommodationDAY 2

Wake up call in the early morning, warm water, and breakfast ready for you.  With the guide and poolers, you will head out for a guided nature walk which starts with a mokoro excursion. Explore sceneries such as the sunrise in the wilderness, Kudu, Impala, and Wildebeest will be seen as they are common in the Okavango Delta. Animal tracks and birdlife can also be seen. While returning back to the camp in the afternoon on the mokoro again, you may see elephants drinking water and swimming, and other animals. Arrival at the camp, brunch will be served and you will have a good rest then head out to the afternoon activity which will be a mokoro excursion and a walk. Depending on the water level, there is a possibility to enjoy a swim/bath in the delta water at a safe place without crocodiles and hippos. Later on, dinner will be served.


DAY 3 

It is another morning in the Delta, wake-up call warm water, and breakfast ready for you.  With the guide and poolers, you will head out for a guided nature walk which starts with a mokoro excursion. Explore sceneries as the sunrise in the wilderness of the Okavango Delta. While returning back to the camp in the afternoon on the mokoro again, you may see elephants drinking water and swimming, and other animals. Arrive at the camp, brunch will be served and you will have a good rest and then head out to the afternoon activity, a mokoro excursion to the cultural village known as Xaxaba to meet the locals and observe basket weaving. During the tour, you may see Elephants, reptiles, and birdlife like Hammer Kop. Depending on the water level, there is a possibility to enjoy a swim/bath in the delta water at a safe place without crocodiles and hippos. Dinner is served.


DAY 4

On the last morning of the trip, wake up in the morning, and a light breakfast will be served with a scenic view of the Delta River. Head back to Maun on a boat which will be a game ride on its own with different kinds of animals crossing your way. A stopover on your way for a light brunch and the journey ends in Maun.
